Barack Obama wants to adapt the Internet for increased democracy, part of the "Change We Can Believe In" strategy for winning the White House. We feel that Real Change must include Real Democracy, a way for the will of the People themselves to be included in the creation of our most important NATIONAL laws and policies. This is not Rocket Science, but just real democracy as it evolves.

We also know that Politicians always get it wrong when it comes to crossing the 'i's and dotting the 'T's. So, we must help Senator Obama as President construct a new kind of Internet Community wherein the voters of this country come together as in a Town Hall Meeting as one nation, voice the biggest concerns facing them, and then come to a consensus on all possible solutions. Placing the best of these CITIZEN PROPOSITIONS on the Ballot is the next step. This allows the voters in this country to VOTE on the INTERNET via NATIONAL BALLOT MEASURES as well as in the traditional polling places for these citizen-based solutions, thus enabling a more modern and vibrant and total democracy in America, one that the politicians and their special interests could not control.

The best essay on this subject will lay down actual World Wide Web ideas for achieving real democracy, in such patterns that will make it easier for the voters to achieve a direct democracy using these tools provided by the Internet and Web 2.0.
