One upon a time in the year of 2008, two college students (University of memphis) had the adventure of a lifetime. They got a chance to follow the Memphis Tiger Basketball team wherever they went. No matter if it was at home or away they were there. Near the end of the season the two college students were able to witness only one loss of their team the entire regular season and hold a number one spot in the rankings for the longest time in their school history. These two even got to winess a Conference USA Title. So when the time came to be able to attend a Final Four and National Championship game, they jumped on it.
With hope in their eyes and devotion in their hearts they left and headed to San Antonio, TX. This is when the disaster started. the students left about 1:00 pm on April 4 and were making very good time at first. They pushed through Dallas and pushed it to Austin, but when they got there there were no hotels available. They rode sround Austin stopping at every hotal that they saw just to be able to sleep for the night and there were none. So, they had to drive back an hour outside of autin at about 3:00 am, oh what fun they had.
After that dilemma there they went to the Final Four game and their team (the tigers) did what everyone said they could not. They made it to a National Championship game. so the students were excited and a bit nervous because of what a title like this could bring. As the game started the crowd was live and the players on both teams were pumped. The two college students from the University of Memphis watched for three long quarters the back and forths, and swish shots as their hearts raced. to the final few minutes of the game. They crossed their ingers and prayed that with only a couple of seconds left their team would keep the three point lead. these two hoped for something they had been waiting for the entire season. In the last seconds of the game the other team took a shot as the two college students long with twenty eight others took a deep breath as the ball fell into the hoop and tied the ballgame.
These two students got to winess something that was so bittersweet it will be remembered for years to come. to end the story the Tiger basketball team lost that game on April 7, 2008. I was one of those two college students and just like Michael Elliott's article on the time website, I and always will stay "Hopelessly devoted" to our team.
our family went for a swim. I was about 2 and not quite swimming without floaties. i decided to take a walk in the deep end of the public pool. my cuz dived in and saved me.

I remember when It was a camp day in college, my classmates and I took a banca to cross the lake in Palawan. My professor and other classmates where waiting on the other side of shallow water. While we're on a way, one of my classmates, pull out a gun and started shooting on lake birds. Of course, many of us got scared because we might be attacked by native people having a bow and arrow living on that area. But when we reach the wooden bridge, it's too low to pass. It flanked into the water, so we have to step up into the bridge and we lifted up the banca to cross it over. But when we're on a half way of lifting the banca, a big, maybe a 15 foot crocodile suddenly swam down the water approaching our way. We all scared off, many screams! Hurrying to push down the banca and raring to step in! Thanks God, we're safe and the croc turned away. Whew! the crocodile might disturb by our noise and the gun shots. It's really a devastating adventure. I never thought of seeing a really big crocodile and imagined that we're being hurt or eaten alive. We're not supposed to enter their territory or else, something might be happen to any of us.
from hotel to hotel and you are not planing your voyage half a year before leaving your security, yeap there are a lot of adventures waiting for you! I like to travel like this very much and did it a lot of times all over Europe starting when I was 15 years old. Fortunately I had parents allowing me to do so under the condition that I had to earn the money I needed by myself. No problem, I didn't need so much!
But talking about the disasters, I'm really scared for my own children now because I remember so very clear all the difficult, dangerous situations I was in, without even thinking about. I'm curious to learn about other people experiences, like your topic very much!
Me and my buddies went train track hopping just for adventure. We were walking down the track when we came upon this long bridge. Before we started crossing the bridge , we all agreed that in case a train came while we were on the bridge, we’ll all run like crazy and don't stop! well , sure enough a train came , and about 20 yards after we made it to the half way point (the bridge was about 200 yards long). so we stuck to our plan and we ran! we were too far away from the start of the bridge to turn back so we hauled a** towards the train. we had to dive out of the way to keep from getting hit by the train. it was a 50 ft drop from the bridge to the creek below and there were these huge rocks, so jumping off of the bridge was not an option. that was my one adventure that could have turned to disaster.
