“You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” This is one of many clichés that has been stitched into the fabric of our lives. Fortunately, for every rule one can find a loophole. Please describe a situation or time when you’ve been able to rebound from a ghastly first impression or when someone you’ve encountered has succeeded in changing your thoughts about him/her. If you've never been successful in this endeavor, please describe an indelible 'foot in your mouth' moment that you wish you could take back. Everyone loves a storybook ending; so the examples should be extreme!
