In response to Purse Creation Rewards.

Didn't most of us have dreams of having a hover board, a flying car, or a jet pack when we were little? Granted, technology has produced some of the greatest things, but is it failing our expectations?
I know it seems like everything I do with technology it some how goes awfully wrong. It has evolved so much that I can't even understand what my computer technician is telling me. As children there is no doubt that we all viewed technology as something that would be more fun, not just a computer or an iPod. With that in mind I believe that our maturity has failed our childhood dreams of those fun technological innovations.

I didn't see this one before, but I really like your idea! Technology really is a mixed bag, and not at all what "Tomorrow Land" looked like when people were looking forward to all the glamorous toys projected for the future. Who would have thought that the new technology that brought us the joys of the dishwasher would also mean that when it broke it would cost nearly as much to fix it as buy a new one -- or that new technology would mean that in most cities there is almost no time when you are out that you are not being recorded by surveillance equipment...

I always dreamt by opening my eyes in the morning the cafe machine would start automatically, warm water would run into the bathtube and soft music would play in all rooms, all accompanied with delicious smell of fresh croissants.
And now it is not at all like this :(
