Being honest in relationships, whether or not it is platonic or romantic, and familial or business related, is a must. Anything that is built on deception will not survive the daily wear and tear that it may be subjected to. In the beginning it may give the impression of being the best way to deal with things but in the end, dishonesty will only cause feelings of upset.
