I realize that maybe a history category might not be the busiest area of the site, but as a history major I think it's important for those of us who are studying or have studied history to have some s

Instead of four choices: Reply; Email this page; Write to Author; and Veto this comment. Delete comment should be added in the choices in order to avoid duplication. I've noticed some authors have mistakenly posted their comments twice and in no way to delete it.

So, it's not likely we'll ever get transparency with a public voting record. Fine.

As users are no longer able to veto Conclusions (a situation I personally find regrettable), seven of the eight questions posed in the FAQ under Dialog Conclusions are completely irrelevant. If this change is a permanent one, those questions should be removed from the FAQ to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Shorter deadlines for some of the Purses and more frequent new Purse topics would probably help to limit boredom and increase more participation, both voting and story submissions. Maybe that would mean that the prizes have to be smaller so we can have more diverse topics going at any given time. I'd be down for that!

I was reading some stories from some great writers here on Democrasay, I just wish some 5 extra votes for those who do have any left after three days. I noticed we all enjoy receiving votes and we should also be generous in giving back what we receive. Blessings are in the giving of votes so writers can see and judge their stories better.

Currently there is no rhyme or reason with regards to how Purse winners are announced/notified and prizes distributed. Some Purse winners are posted immediately after the deadline while others take weeks. There should be a more uniform procedure and set time at the conclusion of Purses. This will eleviate confusion and save the DemocraSay editors from having to answer redundant feedback questions.

In addition to the CATEGORIES (Creative Writing,Environment,Family Life,Media Notes, etc.) which classify and define the entries ( e.g. Overseer/Officer! - Politics and World), label the entries that were submitted for a purse to identify them from the non-purse entries. Hence,

TITLE: Overseer/Officer!

Submitted by: sala voter/author on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 14:42. * Politics and World - DIALOG: Is the U.S. Prison Industry the New Slavery?

Body: "Here, there are two issues at hand...."

ANOTHER EXAMPLE:

TITLE: Fables, Fairy Tales and Stories
